Be part of the North Chingford Art Trail 2024
The trail is taking place from Saturday 28th September to Sunday 6th October in venues in and around Station Road, including the Epping Forest Visitor Centre (The View), the Basement Gallery and Buffet Room at Chingford Community Hub, several cafes along Station Road and the King’s Head pub.
The aims of this year’s art trail are to provide a platform to showcase local talent and to encourage more people to come and enjoy the local area.
The theme for this year’s art trail is A New Light. You may wish to create a new artwork that follows this theme, or create a new artwork that follows your own creative idea, or submit a piece that you have already created.
We are inviting local creatives to participate by submitting their artworks for display. To go to the submission form click on the button below. The deadline for submissions is Friday 5th July.
Following the submission deadline the coordination team of the Love North Chingford Art Group will allocate the venues for each submission, where appropriate in conjunction with the venue manager and the artist. Artists will be informed of allocated venues by Friday 6th September. Depending on the venue, artists will need to liaise with the venue manager or the coordination team to finalise the details of how their artworks will be displayed. Artworks need to be delivered to the appropriate venue during the week leading up to the start of the trail, and no later than Friday 27th September.

A guide listing the artists and the venues and a trail map will be available shortly before the start of the trail. The print deadline for the trail guide is Friday 30th August.

Art went dark over the pandemic years, but the art trail is coming back to North Chingford!
‘A New Light, this year’s optimistic theme, is set to shine in September 2024. The trail will bring local talent and businesses together treating residents and visitors to an extra splash of colour this Autumn; exactly what we all need right now. Artists’ call out has gone out! See above.
